carved mirror update

I am getting closer to being finished with the carved mirror I posted about previously. . . I am now trying to decide what type of finish I will put on it when it is completed. (stain, paint, lacquer?)

sneak peek of ornate picture frame

One of my saws was in the shop today, so I had some time to start this ornate hand carved picture frame. I worked on it for several hours today and am only about a quarter of the way finished. The frame will hold a 12x12" mirror when it is finished.
