Frame made it to the front page of http://www.etsy.com

when I was checking my esty.com store I noticed something awesome. . .There on the homepage one of my frames was featured. . .I am really excited about this and the potential for more of my stuff being featured in the future. The picture below is the frame that was featured. . .It is a deep black pine shadowbox style frame with real natural bamboo slats inside!

Barnwood frames

I have now posted a bunch of sizes of barnwood style frames. . . I wanted to add this type of frame to my shop and now I have.

These frames are eco friendly because I use a wash to create the barnwood look, I hand distress each frame individually to achieve this look.

bamboo picture frames

I have listed several variations of bamboo frames in my esty shop

All of my bamboo frames are made from solid bamboo. . .I purchase slats of bamboo from this online store www.foreverbamboo.com

steps to making bamboo frames
1. build frame base out of pine 1x2" wood
2. cut bamboo by cutting 45 degree angles to form miters
3. I than clamp up the bamboo after using wood glue on the inside surface of the bamboo
4. to guarantee the bamboo will stay I shoot a couple of brad nails into the surface.
